Michel Couvreur Candid Malt Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Michel Couvreur Candid is a malt whisky distilled in 2006 and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in 250 litre botas that had been deeply impregnated with Pedro Ximenez, kept in deep, humid caves. Four selected casks are blended together to give a regular taste from bottle to bottle. The nose is floral and intense. On the palate it is intense yet very mellow, with a soft, peaty touch of liquorice.
