Michel Couvreur Cap a Pie Sherry Casks Blended Whisky (70cl, 45%)

A blended whisky from Michel Couvreur, bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from Scottish distillate matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks in the rock cellars of Bouze-lès-Beaune in Burgundy. The sherry casks bring fruity, sweet and spicy touches, while a lively malt character stays in view alongside them. It is bottled without chill filtering or added colour. The name Cap a Pie comes from medieval English and means roughly armed from head to foot.
