Manzanilla Pasada sherry butt
This is a 13-year-old single malt from Michel Couvreur, in a 150cl magnum bottle at 52% ABV. The spirit was distilled in February 2011, matured in a very old Manzanilla Pasada sherry butt and bottled in September 2025. Michel Couvreur, a Belgian who settled in Burgundy, matures Scottish malt distillate in French rock cellars, with sherry casks at the centre of the approach. Manzanilla is a dry style of sherry, so the cask brings dry, winey and lightly spiced character. On the nose, ripe grapes mix with fine stewed fruit and a faint note of grape must.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
