Michel Couvreur – Overaged Malt (70cl)

Michel Couvreur Overaged Malt is a blend of single malts in a 70cl bottle. The malts were aged in Pedro Ximenez sherry oak casks for between 12 and 25 years. The younger whiskies bring a fresh, peaty character, while the older ones add depth and balance. After blending, the whisky is aged further in a fresh Pedro Ximenez barrel. The nose combines cumin, leathery tobacco, raisin and peat. Plum and orange appear on the palate, and the finish is long, peaty and spicy.
