A blended malt from Michel Couvreur, bottled in April 2026 at 48% ABV in a 1.5 litre magnum. Only 24 bottles were filled. The whisky is a vatting of three single malts from Scottish distillate, at least one of them clearly peated. The components matured for between 10 and 19 years in sherry oak casks, including Oloroso and Amontillado, in the rock-cut cellars at Bouze-lès-Beaune in Burgundy. Sherry sweetness, peat smoke and spice are blended so that no single note leads.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
