Michel Couvreur Very Sherried 25 Year Old Vintage 1998 (50cl, 50%)

Michel Couvreur Very Sherried is a 25 year old single malt, distilled in Scotland on 16 June 1998 and bottled exactly 25 years later, on 16 June 2023. It comes in a 50cl bottle at 50% ABV, from an edition of 975 bottles. The whole maturation took place in a Pedro Ximénez sherry butt. The cask rested in an old cellar cut into the rock at Bouze-lès-Beaune in Burgundy, so the whisky cannot legally be called Scotch.
