This is a 26-year-old single malt from Michel Couvreur, from the 1998 vintage and bottled at 50.5% in a 50cl bottle. The spirit was distilled in Scotland on 16 June 1998, then matured at Bouze-lès-Beaune in Burgundy.
It spent its 26 years in a combination of Amontillado and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, the first adding dry, nutty and spicy accents and the second sweetness and dark fruit. It was bottled on 22 October 2024, in an edition of 800 bottles.
