Michter's Small Batch Bourbon (70cl, 45.7%)

Michter's Small Batch is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 45.7% in a 70cl bottle. The mash is composed to bring out the sweet character of the corn while keeping some complexity and spice. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. Each batch is married from no more than 20 casks, and every cask has to meet a high standard. The nose has strong caramel and vanilla with a restrained smokiness. The palate is softly sweet, with stone fruit and smoky hints, and the finish shows a distinct oak note.
