This is a 10 year old Miltonduff from Gordon & MacPhail's Discovery range, which began in 2018. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring.
The range uses colour-coded spouts to show the basic style of each whisky. The purple spout on this one marks maturation in former sherry casks.
The nose is intense, with dried fruit, sherry, light citrus, nuts and spice. The palate is creamy and fruity, with orange zest, raisins, milk chocolate, spice and stewed fruit. The finish is long and spicy-sweet, with chocolate, cinnamon and pepper.
