Miltonduff – 10 Years Discovery Label Gordon & MacPhail

This is a 10 year old single malt from the Miltonduff distillery, bottled independently by Gordon & MacPhail for its Discovery series. The Discovery labels sort each bottling into one of three style categories: Sherry, Smoky or Bourbon. This one falls into the Sherry group. The tasting notes describe a nose of toffee apples, rum-soaked raisins and fresh malt. On the palate, chocolate and caramel bring sweetness, with a touch of cloves adding warmth. The finish offers blackberry jam and cinnamon.
