This is a 13 year old Highland single malt from Miltonduff, released in the Cooper's Choice series from The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. It was distilled in June 2007 and bottled in 2020 at 51.1%.
The whisky first matured in American oak. It then spent 13 months in a former Bruichladdich cask that had held imperial milk stout from Spey Valley Brewery.
The nose offers milk chocolate, green fruit and malt, with soft oak. On the palate come fresh citrus, spice, summer fruits and creamy vanilla, and the finish carries a little honey.
