This single cask Miltonduff from Speyside was distilled in 2007 and finished for 17 months in a European oak refill Oloroso sherry hogshead. It was selected for bottling in 2024 by James Eadie, at cask strength, without chill filtration and without added colour, in an outturn of 171 bottles.
The nose is tart redcurrant and raspberry with milk chocolate, cake batter, coffee cake and roasted nuts. The palate is fresh, zesty and floral, with sugared almonds, lemon rind, strawberry jam and juicy blackberries. The finish is rich raspberry pavlova.
