This is a 2011 vintage Miltonduff single malt, bottled by Malts of Scotland at 47.5% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was built in 1824 on the grounds of Pluscarden Abbey, near Elgin in Speyside, and rebuilt in 1895. In 1974 two stills were added to make a whisky called Mosstowie, and the distillery was renovated again in 1999. Its water comes from the Black Burn. Miltonduff's whisky is a main component of the Ballantine's blend.
