This is a 22 year old Miltonduff from a refill hogshead of 2002, bottled at 50.7% in an outturn of 138 bottles. Release 15 carries artwork by Mister Phil, the Brighton artist.
The nose is mellow, with wax polish, almond biscotti and a faint trace of old linen. On the palate come honeycomb, toasted nuts and a creamy cereal note, with the oak kept subtle. The finish is long and slow, with gentle spice, soft oak and a malty warmth.
