Miltonduff 9 Year Old "The Maypole" is a Speyside single malt distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2022 by James Eadie for its Small Batch series. It was matured in a combination of first fill bourbon and refill hogsheads.
The label was illustrated by James Hutcheson and is inspired by one of the historic pubs once owned by James Eadie. First fill bourbon casks add creamy vanilla and sweetness, while the refill casks keep the spirit's delicate fruit and malt notes.
The spirit is described as soft and floral in character.
