This nine-year-old Miltonduff matured in an ex-bourbon cask and is bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from the Idols of Scotland series by the German importer Whiskymax, and is dedicated to Robert the Bruce, King of Scotland from 1306 to 1329. Only 270 bottles were filled.
The nose offers fresh apple and lemon zest, with floral notes and spicy oak. The palate is fresh and crisp, opening with lemon and light fruits before spicy wood, pepper, ginger and cloves. The finish is of medium length, with spice and fine oak.
