Moletto Grappa di Prosecco (75cl, 40%)

Moletto Grappa di Prosecco is a single-variety grappa distilled from the pomace of Prosecco (Glera) grapes in copper stills. It is unaged, with no barrel contact, so it stays crystal clear, and it is bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. It comes from Moletto Societa Agricola in Motta di Livenza, Veneto, in the east of the Treviso province. The nose has fresh acacia blossom and ripe pear, with apple in support. The palate is round and delicate rather than fiery, with orchard-fruit purity, and the finish is clean and harmonious.
