Montefalco Rosso DOC Terrebianche Cesarini Sartori

A red wine from Umbria, built mainly on Sangiovese with Sagrantino and other local red varieties. It has a deep ruby colour tending to garnet with age, with aromas of ripe red fruit, sweet spices, tobacco and leather from barrique ageing. The palate is full-bodied with well-integrated tannins and lively acidity. Fermentation uses indigenous yeasts and the wine matures in oak barrels for at least 18 months before further bottle ageing.
