36 South is a double grain whisky from Morris Rutherglen, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American oak and ex-Australian Shiraz casks.
The nose has sticky raspberry jam and toasted cereal, giving way to vanilla cream. On the palate, dried red fruits come first, balanced by lightly charred oak and developing into hints of honey-glazed cinnamon pastry. The finish is long and buttery, with freshly baked spiced gingerbread.
