Mortlach 12 Year Old The Wee Witchie is a Speyside single malt bottled at 43.3%. The name refers to the distillery's small copper still, which plays a part in Mortlach's 2.81 distillation process.
It matured in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks, which add sweetness, spice and toasted oak.
The nose brings dried fruit, vanilla, light smoke and spiced oak. The palate is rich and full, with caramel, chocolate, spices and ripe fruit. The finish is long and warm, with hints of sherry and oak.
