Mortlach 21 Year Old Special Release 2020 is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 56.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The release was 7,692 bottles worldwide.
After maturing in small batches, the whisky was finished in casks seasoned with Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso. Mortlach is known as The Beast of Dufftown for its robust, meaty character.
The aromas are dark dried fruits with savoury, meaty notes. The palate is sweet with rich fruit and cured ham, and the long finish balances sweetness and spice before turning dry.
