Mortlach – Midnight Malt 30 Year Old (70cl)

Mortlach Midnight Malt is a 30 year old single malt from Mortlach Distillery in Dufftown, Speyside, bottled at natural cask strength in a 70cl bottle. Mortlach is known as the 'beast of Dufftown'. The distillery uses an unusual partial triple distillation, run to 2.81 times rather than the standard double distillation. That method gives a spirit described as heavy, oily and complex, and this bottling draws on thirty years of maturation in a specially selected cask format. The character is heavy, meaty and complex.
