This is a cask strength single malt from Mortlach, released as part of Diageo's 2023 Special Releases, in a 70cl bottle at 58% ABV.
It takes its inspiration from the flavours of Japan and was finished in a combination of ex-Kanosuke Japanese whisky casks and ex-Pinot Noir casks.
The finishing is described as bringing notes of blackberry and toasted cinnamon, with hints of porcini mushroom.
