Mossburn Ephemera Great Michael (70cl, 57.8%)

Mossburn Ephemera Great Michael is a whisky bottled at 57.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is named in memory of the Great Michael, flagship of the Royal Scottish Navy, known as the Black Ship. King James IV had her built at a specially made dock at Newhaven in Fife, and she was the largest warship in Europe when launched. The nose is fruity and fresh, with candied fruit, apples, straw and malty digestive biscuits. The palate balances fruit and sweet smoke, with fresh tobacco, diesel smoke, milk chocolate and a hint of candy floss.
