Nelson Brothers Classic is a blend of high-rye straight bourbons from Nelson's Green Brier Distillery in Nashville, Tennessee, bottled at 46.65% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It carries no age statement.
The bourbon was matured in new, charred American white oak barrels. Launched in 2022, it is the flagship of the Nelson Brothers line, which Charlie and Andy Nelson named after themselves when they revived their family's distillery.
The nose has spice cake, cherry, milk chocolate, vanilla and baked apple. On the palate come banana bread, cocoa, cherry and dried pineapple, and the finish is long and gentle, with black peppercorn, spearmint, lemon peel and sweet tobacco.
