Belle Meade XO Cognac Cask Finish is a small batch bourbon from Nelson's Green Brier Distillery, finished in XO Cognac casks. It is bottled at 45.2% (90.4 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
The Cognac casks add grape, vanilla and baking spice to the bourbon's caramel character.
The nose offers rich caramel, toasted oak, dried fruit, vanilla and a light floral spice. The palate brings honeyed sweetness, dark fruit, vanilla cream, subtle grape and soft baking spice. The finish is long and smooth, with lingering oak, gentle fruit and warm spice.
