New Holland Beer Barrel Aged Bourbon is a Michigan bourbon bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is made from corn, barley and rye, fermented in-house, twice distilled and matured in new American oak, then married with sourced whiskey. It is finished for 90 days in barrels that previously held the distillery's Dragon's Milk stout, itself aged in former bourbon barrels. Red apple and cotton candy sweetness lead the nose, with soft caramel, banana and gentle oak. The palate is smooth and malt-forward, with biscuity grain, butterscotch, burnt toast and a spark of allspice. The finish is medium, with malt sweetness and toasted oak dryness.
