New Riff Bottled in Bond is a Kentucky straight bourbon from New Riff Distilling in Newport, bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It is non-chill filtered.
As a Bottled in Bond bourbon, it comes from a single distilling season at a single distillery and has aged for at least four years in a bonded warehouse. The mashbill is 65% corn, 30% rye and 5% malted barley.
Butterscotch, fresh oak, vanilla, caramel and rye spice show on the nose, with orange peel beneath. The palate moves from caramel and cherry to clove, cinnamon, mint and dark berry. The finish is long and rye-led, with red and black fruit, white pepper and clove.
