Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky (45%)

Nikka Coffey Grain is a Japanese grain whisky made at the Chita Distillery and bottled at 45% ABV. It is distilled in a Coffey still, a continuous column still, mainly from corn alongside other grains. The spirit is matured in ex-bourbon and other seasoned oak casks, which add gentle vanilla, spice and wood to a naturally sweet, creamy and fruity distillate. The nose offers vanilla cream, ripe pear and tropical fruit such as pineapple and mango, with white chocolate, honeyed grain and soft oak spice. On the palate it is velvety, with sweet corn, toffee and caramel.
