Nikka Taketsuru 17 Year Old is a Japanese vatted whisky, bottled at 43%. It is named after Masataka Taketsuru, who founded Nikka in 1934 and is widely regarded as the father of Japanese whisky. The whisky is described as weighty and intense, with depth, elegance and balance. Nikka now belongs to the Asahi Group. On the nose it offers raisins, honey, oak and marmalade.
