Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt 17 Year Old is a Japanese blended malt whisky in a 70cl bottle, aged for 17 years. It is made with whisky from a combination of casks, sherry among them.
In the glass it is a bright yellow-gold. The nose brings vanilla and cereal with a faint white floral note. The palate begins silky and light, smoke picks up mid-sip, and the long finish settles into honey and vanilla.
