Taketsuru Pure Malt is a blend from Nikka. It takes its name from the company's founder, Masataka Taketsuru, who is widely known as the father of Japanese whisky. The whisky is smooth, with a burst of intensity on the palate that mellows out as it reaches the finish. Tasting notes describe oak, tropical fruit and a subtle touch of cacao.
