Nomad Reserve is a 10 year old blended whisky made under the guidance of the Gonzalez Byass house.
It matures in three kinds of cask, mainly bourbon barrels, and is then finished in Jerez casks in Spain after its time in Scotland. That finish gives it a Spanish character.
The nose is rich in vanilla and caramel with a hint of dried fruit. The palate is smooth, balancing sweetness and spice, with oak, a touch of spice and light smokiness. The finish is long and warming, with a little cocoa.
