North British 100 Proof Edition #2 is a 15-year-old Lowland single grain Scotch whisky, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2025.
It matured in first and second fill Oloroso sherry butts and Bourbon casks. It is bottled at 57.1% vol (100 Proof) by Signatory Vintage, as part of that bottler's 100 Proof series.
Proof is an older British unit of strength, and 100 Proof marks the level at which gunpowder soaked in alcohol can be ignited.
