North British 13 Year Old is a single grain Scotch whisky, released as the Blazing Mystery edition in the WhiskyHeroes series from independent bottler Brave New Spirits. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
It was distilled at the North British Distillery in Edinburgh and matured for 13 years. That included a finishing period in a second-fill Islay hogshead, which adds subtle smoky nuances.
