This is a 14 year old North British, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2022 at 57.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was given a finish in a first fill Sauternes cask and released by Best Dram in an outturn of 317 bottles.
The nose opens sweet and fruity, with vanilla, quince and apricot, and honeydew melon coming through as the intensity fades. The palate is smooth, sweet and noticeably grassy, with a fine hint of pepper, then quince, pear and fully ripe melon. The finish is medium and very sweet, with fading fruit and a light herbal note.
