This is a 15-year-old single grain from the North British distillery in Edinburgh, selected and bottled by Signatory Vintage as the second 100 Proof Grain Edition. It was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2025 at 57.1%, in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colour.
Signatory Vintage vatted whisky from first- and second-fill Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels.
The nose combines grain and creamy vanilla with plums, blackcurrants, roasted nuts and caramel. The palate is full, with malt, toasty notes, sweet caramel, cream toffee, dark berries and light oak spice. The finish is long, with dark chocolate and roasted hazelnut.
