North British – 15 Year Old 2009 Signatory Vintage 100 Proof Grain Edition #2 (70cl, 57.1%)

This is a 15 year old single grain whisky from the North British distillery in Edinburgh, distilled in 2009 and bottled by Signatory Vintage in 2025. It is the second release in the 100 Proof Grain Edition, bottled at 57.1% in a 70cl bottle. It matured in first and second fill Oloroso sherry butts together with bourbon barrels. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The character is described as approachable yet intense, with vanilla, buttery pastry, toffee, sherry sweetness and fine oak spice. Despite the strength it stays round and balanced.
