North British – 15 Year Old 2011 Oloroso Finish The Octave Kirsch Import 50th Anniversary Duncan Taylor (55.3%)

This is a 15-year-old single grain whisky from North British in the Lowlands, distilled in 2011 and bottled by Duncan Taylor for the 50th anniversary of Kirsch Import. It comes from the Octave series, which uses small octave casks, and was finished in Oloroso sherry. Bottled at 55.3% ABV, without colouring or chill-filtration, it was produced in 88 bottles. It is described as malty and sweet, with caramel, dried fruit and spicy oak.
