This is a single grain Scotch whisky from the North British distillery, bottled independently by Mossburn as number 24 in its Vintage Casks series. It was distilled in 2003 and bottled fifteen years later, in 2019, at 46%.
The nose shows white oak, melted butter, brown sugar and a hint of toasted grain. The palate is creamy and slightly waxy, with a good measure of white chocolate in the background. The finish builds slowly to spicy oak.
