A single grain from the North British distillery in the Lowlands, distilled in 2008 and matured for 18 years in first-fill sherry hogsheads and refill bourbon barrels. Signatory Vintage bottled it at 46% for its Un-Chillfiltered Collection, with no chill-filtration and no added colouring.
The whisky is ochre in the glass.
The nose is vanilla and caramel with light fruit and honey. The palate is full and creamy, with dried fruit from the sherry casks and gentle oak spice, leading to a long, balanced finish.
