A single grain Scotch whisky distilled in 1991 at North British and bottled after more than 33 years of maturation, at 40.1% in a 70cl bottle. It was selected by Thompson Bros. and issued as a limited edition. The nose opens with Demerara sugar and pastry cream, then fruit-pastille sweetness, faint rubber and sawdust, and juicy stone fruit. On the palate it is round and oily, with honeycomb wax, stewed plums and a floral plum jam. The finish is lingering, with toasted honey and zesty citrus and a slight woody bitterness.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
