This is a 31 year old single cask Glendronach, selected and bottled by North Star Spirits as part of their Series 21. It was aged in an Oloroso sherry butt, and 346 bottles were filled at 44.4% abv in a 70cl size.
The nose has cold rain on hot tarmac and milled black peppercorns. The palate brings passion fruit curd on hot buttered toast, and the finish offers Morello cherry and warm chocolate fondant.
