Blunderbluss Showdown is a 7 year old whisky from Nyborg Whisky in Denmark, bottled at 52.9% ABV. It matured from October 2013 until November 2020 and was drawn from 149 bottles.
The whisky spent time in three different casks: first two rum casks, then a PX sherry cask, and finally a Laphroaig Quarter Cask.
When the whisky was assessed just before bottling, the nose showed three kinds of smoke: peat smoke, campfire smoke and gunpowder smoke.
