Danish Oak Ardor is an organic whisky from Nyborg Whisky, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Its casks were made from oak trees grown on the Erholm Gods estate near Aarup on Funen. They were filled with some of the distillery's best whisky, which had already spent 5 to 7 years in cask. Because new casks are so strong and full of flavour, the maturation in Danish oak was stopped after a time, and the whisky was moved into new bourbon casks, where it stayed until it was ready for bottling.
