Oban 14 Year Old is a West Highland single malt and the core expression of Oban Distillery, which was founded in 1794 by the brothers John and Hugh Stevenson. It is bottled at 43% in a 750ml bottle.
The spirit is distilled in some of the smallest copper pot stills in Scotland, with lamp glass shaped necks, and condensed in outdoor wooden worm tubs open to the sea air around Oban Bay.
The nose is warming and sweet, with toffee, sticky toffee pudding, waxy nuttiness, ripe orchard fruits, fruit cake, aromatic orange, brine, smoke and pine resin.
