Oban Bay Reserve The Night's Watch is a limited edition West Highland single malt with no age statement, bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is one of eight whiskies made by Diageo in collaboration with HBO for the final season of Game of Thrones, released in 2018. Oban represents The Night's Watch, and the dark bottle carries the Night's Watch oath embossed on the front.
The whisky was matured in refill and double charred ex-bourbon casks together with European oak.
The nose is of straw, hay and savoury cereal, with fresh orange, apricot, plum, floral tea, toasted oak, walnuts, barrel char, a saline note and a wisp of campfire smoke.
