Octomore – 13.1 137.3 PPM (59.2%)

Octomore 13.1 is a single malt bottled at 59.2% ABV, made from 100% Scottish mainland barley malted to 137.3 PPM. The spirit was distilled from the 2015 harvest and spent five years in first-fill ex-American oak casks. In 2021 it was vatted into fresh first-fill ex-American oak casks by Head Distiller Adam Hannett, adding dark toffee, coconut and vanilla. The nose offers sweet, nutty smoke with barley sugar, ripe fruit, apricot, pear, vanilla, honey, coconut and charred oak. The palate is thick and smoky, with smoked apricot jam, peat embers and burnt heather. The finish turns earthy and mossy, with salty citrus and floral notes of geranium and rose.
