The third edition of Octomore, a heavily peated Islay single malt. It was distilled in 2008 and bottled on 14 December 2018 at a cask strength of 56.8%, making it 10 years old.
It matured in a combination of bourbon, cognac, port and virgin oak casks. The edition runs to 12,000 bottles.
Peat smoke, dark fruit, oak, malt and spice are described, together with maritime notes and a mature wood structure.
