A 10 year old Islay single malt from Octomore, released in limited numbers and bottled at cask strength, 54.3%. Seventy-seven casks went into this release, mostly ex-American whiskey casks, and in 2018 the whisky was transferred into second fill ex-American whiskey casks.
Strong peat smoke sits alongside vanilla, oak, light fruit, malt, spice and salty notes, with a seasoned woody structure.
